The¬ Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner NP Program Manager will manage an expanding Palliative Care program for inpatient and outpatient settings and will play a key role in developing and implementing the program. The¬ Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner NP Program Manager will report directly to the Director of Medical Surgical & Oncology Services and will work closely with the Executive Director of Cancer Center.
The patient population of the unit is diverse with diagnoses ranging from terminal cancer to heart failure. Palliative Care includes both Inpatient and Outpatient services. The Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner NP Program Manager¬ will be supported by Clinical Coordinators, Nursing staff, Social Workers, and additional staff as the program expands.
The¬ Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner NP Program Manager will play a working Manager role with both clinical and management responsibilities over the Palliative care staff and program. This will be a great role to step into program development and leadership position.
